Today I wanna share with you a story about a bamboo tree that inspired me the first time I read it and keeps inspiring me every time I reread it.
The Chinese Bamboo Tree is a remarkable tree native to the Far East, and while most trees grow steadily over a period of years, the Chinese Bamboo Tree doesn’t break through the ground for the first 4 years.
It’s a very hard nut!
It has to be watered, nurtured, and fertilized EVERY DAY before it breaks through the ground.
At anytime, if the watering, nurturing, and fertilization process is stopped, the Chinese Bamboo Tree will die in the ground.
Then, in the fifth year, an amazing thing happens – the tree begins to grow at an astonishing rate.
In fact, in a period of just five weeks, a Chinese Bamboo Tree can grow to a height of 90 feet!
Now my question for you is: does it grow 90 feet in five years or five weeks?
The answer is obvious: five years!
It takes time, perseverance, commitment, and hard work, but the result is amazing.
And we also need TIME, PERSEVERANCE, COMMITMENT, and HARD WORK to build our Networking business.
It’s not gonna happen quickly.
You are not gonna have a team of thousands of people in just five weeks.
You are not gonna become the top recruiter in your company overnight.
You are not gonna enjoy time and financial freedom immediately.
But you need to keep watering, nurturing, and fertilizing your tree every single day.
And eventually you will succeed.
