Multi-Level Marketing Assumptions
Try mentioning Multi-Level Marketing or “MLM” at a cocktail party and there’s a collective imagery of going door-to-door and, of course, the never-ending hotel meetings.
People have a preconceived idea of what Multi-Level Marketing is, how it works, and can’t see themselves doing it. But, as a matter of fact, a good number of people are actually doing it without them knowing.
Thing is, this very morning, someone might have posted something on Facebook. Or told someone about a good movie they saw on Netflix. And then put an ad on Craigslist to sell some household goods they don’t need.
ALL of these actions are, get this, exactly how you build a lucrative network marketing business.
Multi-Level Marketing in the Digital Era
Things have changed dramatically over the past decade. When Facebook launched February 4, 2004, almost every person HAD to be on it.
And then there’s the rise of mobile technology where it lets you access Facebook and a hundred different applications on your mobile phone. No more need to open your desktop computer or your laptop that takes forever to load just to access Facebook. With just a few taps away, you’re able to talk and market on your smartphone.
Google Hangouts, Periscope, and other apps now replace hotel and lobby meetings. Local door-to-door selling has also been replaced by global online media — most of it free of charge. It doesn’t mean that lobby meetings and door-to-door selling aren’t effective anymore, it’s just that there’s a much easier and accessible way for others.
The Relevance of Technology For Multi-Level Marketing
The last 5 years has seen a major shift in your opportunity to grow a solid income, outside of a job.
Smartphones and Social Media are driving it even further. It works like some sort of “booster” for several businesses. But, it also works exceptionally well with Multi-Level Marketing and gives several network marketing opportunities worldwide.
The price of a smartphone has decreased dramatically and allows almost everyone, employed or unemployed, to access the Internet. Social Media is also the new way people communicate with each other. It even surpasses e-mail in most cases. Again, most people find it much easier to type in the name of the person they want to talk to on Facebook messenger rather setting up a face to face meeting.
These trends will only continue to grow. Multi-level Marketing can guarantee in getting you a few extra bucks or even more. It’s one of the best ways to earn residual income.
That spells opportunity for you. There’s never been a better time, easier way, and more upside potential for you. You can also replace your day job income and join the new class of home entrepreneurs living on their own terms.
Things never stay the same — and Multi-Level Marketing has also moved on.
