As you go about harnessing and developing your inborn selling skills, it is very hard to deny the fact that you will at some point be rejected…not only once or twice but countless times simply because you can never be able to please everyone in the world no matter how good you are.
A lot of people fear rejection and perceive it as something negative. This is the reason why a lot of people are afraid of selling because of their fear of getting rejected. To tell you honestly, rejection is part of your journey to great success. The more you get rejected the higher your chances of success will be because the most successful people in the world are the ones that are the most rejected. Just take for example the once great president of the United States of America, Abraham Lincoln, who got rejected so many times (too many to mention) that stating each one would probably fill up this whole article. He got rejected and failed so many times but never gave up and made rejection part of the process until he was finally able to succeed and become one of the greatest and most influential US presidents of all time. He never let rejection hinder his great success in life and pursued on selling himself and his worth until he was finally able to achieve what he had always wanted.
Just because you’re rejected does not right away mean you are no good because if that was the case then why is it that a lot of talented people out there are still rejected and fail? This just shows that the reason why you’re being rejected is because you have not yet fully developed your selling skills and still needs more improvement.
