Good and bad.
That’s how a home business works in a down economy.
Like any other business, there are strong and weak home businesses. The weak ones usually don’t survive a down economy.
Also, understand, economies can be global, country-based and regional. So while things are slow in one part of the world, country, state or town – things can be healthy in other areas.
What you’re really asking is, how does a home business fair compared to a job?
A Home Business is the only logical choice.
In a job, someone else determines whether you have an income or not. When things get tight, and it comes down to whether upper management keeps their job or you – self-interest reigns supreme and you’re out on the street.
Secondly, with your own home business you can market worldwide for free today. Using social media you can penetrate any part of the world you choose. This means you can escape down economies and thrive because of today’s mobility. This is an option you don’t have with a job.
Thirdly, the sheer volume of new markets in emerging economies like China, India and other second or third-world countries is mind-blowing. This new trend is because of the dramatic decrease in the price of smartphones. These ‘anxious for an opportunity’ people now have access to the Internet at an affordable cost. This opens up new possibilities for you.
So, you can have a job where somebody else determines your fate or you can take control and weather economic cycles at a level never before available to you.
Your choice – choose wisely, won’t you?
