3 Ways to Find Time for a Home Biz

You’ve always wanted to start a home business, but you don’t know if you can find time in an already stretched schedule.

There are job and family responsibilities. And let’s not forget sleep time.

When you do the math there are 168 hours per week. Deduct 40 hours for job and sleeping, each – that leaves 88 hours. Deduct another 28 hours for family responsibilities – that leaves 60 hours a week. (240 hours a month.)

What can you do with those 60 hours? Many watch Netflix, sports, YouTube. Let’s use half of our 60 hours for entertainment.

That still leaves 30 hours a week or 4 hours a day you can put to productive use. Why not a home business that can enhance your lifestyle?

Here are 3 Tips to Help You Find the Time

TIP #1:

Make THE commitment. A wishy-washy attitude will work against you here. There’s a difference between having a wish and having a goal. Make a commitment and put it in writing.

TIP #2:

Schedule the time. “I’ll do it when I find the time.” That’s the wrong attitude. Write down in your calendar when you’ll work on your home business – and stick to it.

TIP #3:

Important vs. Urgent. Know the difference between what’s important and what’s urgent. Both can be obstacles to you finding time each week. Re-access how you’re prioritizing your time and make your home business near the top of your list.

Finding the time for working on your business isn’t really the issue. There are 168 hours every week. It’s how you handle those hours that makes the difference.

keep focus
